Uli Kusch became a member in Helloween in 1994 before Master of The Rings released. He used to be play drum on Gamma Ray with Kai Hansen. Before it He rumored as a freelance drummer player.
Uli Kusch playing wells in Gamma Ray's Sigh No More. I really like him playing in Start Running and As Time Goes By. These two is my favorite Gamma Ray's Stuff.

Uli doesn't only playing drums, He could make a pretty songs too. His masterpiece is Wake Up The Mountain, Before The War and A Million To One (with Andi), in The Time Of The Oath Album.

I think Uli Kusch gave much influence for Helloween later. Better Than Raw looks like his solo album, cause there so much songs musically written by him. I think his talent could compared with Dream Theater's drummer's Mike Portnoy.

In 2002, He left Helloween and joining with Roland Grapow make a new band called Masterplan
